What is the Ramalama costume walk?
Ramalama (Bang Bang) is the soundtrack to a Halloween reveal: the camera follows shoes and legs, then swings up to show the costume and the person wearing it. The delayed reveal is the point of the clip—not a flying-witch effect or a generic dance.
The three-witch night walk and later solo costume versions share that camera move. GenBay follows the daylight solo performance by @yoyavazquez_: boots approaching the lens, a quick upward reveal, playful poses and a final turn.
Upload one adult photo to take the lead in this selected version. You do not need to film a walk or upload a reference video.
Your face. The black Halloween look.
This version replaces one adult’s face, hair and build while keeping the black dress, fishnet tights, boots, sunglasses and daylight scene from the main reference. The photo’s clothing is not retained. The continuous walk lasts about 14 seconds and exports as a 720p portrait MP4. The videos shown here are credited creator references, not GenBay test results.
The reveal makes the trend
The linked three-witch post documents the 2025 Halloween format; the solo daylight and princess posts show its return in 2026. The low camera creates anticipation, and the upward move makes the costume reveal land with the Ramalama (Bang Bang) sound by Róisín Murphy. These are identifiable examples, not a claim about the first upload or a guarantee of views. [1][2][3]
